Title: Growing Flowers
This painting represents growth even in the darkest times. As I sat down to work on my healing series, I thought this was potentially going to start out as a darker piece, but I decided that I wanted to paint it bright. It is about transforming darkness into light. It is part of my healing journey. It represented many battles that I have fought through over the years. It represents transformation.The brightness that you forget exists when you are in a dark bought of depression - how you can be so depressed or low that you forget flowers even exist. But somehow you always find a way out and pick yourself back up. True growth happens when we face the parts of us that we have hidden away for so long. It symbolizes the soul's capacity to be resilient despite the depths of depression and trauma . Growing flowers.
